mother poem

mother dear, your smile
keeps me alive and warm
you look upon me from the sky
where I cannot reach but smile
your memories make me cry
I miss you now and sigh
your valued presence made me feel
secure and successful
now I am lonely without
yet you bless me from above
I feel you move about
when I need you most
sixth sense or psychic
whatever it means
I do know that I am cared not repealed.

  1. My mother was introvert, not well educated those days. She suffered for quite some time due to immobility but by God's grace, left the world in quiet & peace without much pain before the worst caught up with her. This topic brought some recollections and empathy when she is not around.
